

GodI see God. He grows like an ink blot. He hides inside a clay pot.God
I feel Him slide black through the night, every night. I feel His breath beneath the soil, straining for the light. The air always shakes. He's causing earthquakes. I pray when I wake that my tiny bones break.
God wraps my mouth in black cloth. He conducts the flood while my heart fills with mud.
Forests come crashing down, roots loosed from the ground. Flowers drink & frown, but are not first to drown. Man cries his final word into the starless dark, but only God hears his lonely


You'd not knowI miss'd you like the bone-thin arms of winter crowding my neck with splinters. I felt you linger at the threshold, leaning backwards, holding back words. Sputter'd something amongst th'snowdrops, did you love me before you got lost?You'd not know


3I. You back yourself up against a wall of jewels that you can only describe as a wall of jewels. They cut into you. They're trying to get inside of you. Someone calls from the other side, speaking of color and geometry and slants of light, pulling you through, pulling you out of the dream, if only to be led into another, reality obfuscated, adjectives absent. You're shouting in your sleep.3
II. Curly-haired boy, I'm finding your smiles in the aisles of a supermarket. I'm shopping for songs I used to know. The words travel back slow, and I could disappear between the

Your poems and artwork are thought provoking, and visually impressive respectively.
In fact you have inadvertently inspired me to post a couple of poems of my own. Perhaps I'll do that tomorrow.
